Richard Bouchard has 38 years working for Underwriters Lab (UL LLC) with the past 18 years tasked as UL's Lightning Protection subject matter expert (SME) in the Lightning Protection Inspection Program. Richard participated in technical panels that contributed to the development for UL96A, NFPA 780, IEC 62305 Vol. 1 & 3 and Military Lightning Protection standards. As the senior technical instructor for these standards to staff and clients, Richard developed the UL Lightning Protection Personnel certification program. In 2019, Richard decided to pursue his passion of helping others by founding R B Creations LLC to share his 38 years of expertise.
